1UP Entertainment + Social is a social entertainment venue in Tampa where you can bowl, throw axes, play golf simulators, try virtual reality and play dozens of arcade games, all under one roof. It sits in the Carrollwood Village area at 11778 North Dale Mabry Highway, so it works well as a stop for friends, families or coworkers looking for something beyond a standard night out You can start with bowling on eight lanes, then move on to axe throwing or the XD Immersive Theater, a multi-sensory interactive experience.
What to Expect at 1UP Entertainment + Social
The bowling area has eight lanes, including two private VIP bowling lounge lanes. The venue also offers axe throwing, a golf and sports simulator with a private lounge, and more than 50 interactive amusement games in the arcade.
For something more immersive, the Omni VR Arena offers a fast-paced fantasy virtual reality experience that you can play solo or with others. The XD Immersive Theater is described as a multi-sensory interactive experience, so plan to add it to your list if you want something different from a typical arcade.
The venue also has a full restaurant and two full bars. The kitchen serves scratch creations and traditional favorites, along with craft cocktails and cold brews. Kitchen service closes 30 minutes before the facility closes, so plan your meal earlier in the evening if you want to eat before you play.
