  How did we not know this was here?! We have been VV people for years and had not even heard of CRG but boy am I glad someone told me! The guy at the front desk (youth director…forgot his name) was extremely helpful and friendly. The vibe here is so much more friendly and welcoming, and not politically charged! We had a blast! If you are into bouldering there is SO much space and so many options! We will be back!!

  Glad we checked out Central Rock Climbing. I brought my 3yr old for a playdate, and we were welcomed into a fun, friendly atmosphere. The facility is spacious, pictures do not do it justice. There’s also a dedicated toddler area, which was perfect for little ones to safely explore and play while older kids and adults enjoyed the climbing walls. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience! We’ll definitely be back, and I might even try climbing next time too.

  Overall the climbing experience itself was pretty good, I came with my toddler. But the paper sign process is absolutely turned me off👎I had to stay at check in for 20 min (literally) I filled out and signed almost 10 documents. It is ridiculously too much. My child was absolutely frustrated that it was taking so long. We went to other climbing gyms before (with my kids) and always signed just one, at least two documents (including waiver) Suggestion to the management and owner: why won’t you work with your lawyer and make it easier and less stress for your customers. Also wanted to admit: when we got there there was a young lady on the phone with someone solving some work issue in her laptop, she even did not say Hello for like 5 min. After I said excuse me finally, she was like: she replied that she will help me in a second and went back to her phone conversation. She did not call anyone for help to assist me. Really?! I am standing with a toddler and you are sitting at the desc with phone in your hands without trying to help us!!! It was not 2-3 minutes, it was def. 7 min wait till someone else came in to assist us not her.

  I’ve been to so many climbing gyms l, but CRG Tampa is genuinely one of the best I’ve been too. Great climbing for all skill levels, Friendly staff and incredibly clean gym area and bathrooms. The GM Jordan was actually on the floor and she was so friendly and knowledgeable and kind. She made me feel instantly like part of the community. Highly recommend!

  Great space for climbers of all skill. Clean, safe, and fun. Great prices on day pass, punch cards, and memberships. Worth the drive, plus plenty of space on its 6+ different walls.
