  It's my subjective opinion that this banks practices will ruin your financial stability. You won't have access to your money when you need it because they will find a way to hold it for weeks. The fraud department doesn't speak English and they will lock your accounts because they can't understand you and you can't understand them. This is the USA and our first language is English!

  This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with a bank. If you have an issue with your account getting hacked you will not talk to the people at this local branch. When you call their 800 number for fraud you will talk to someone or attempt to speak with someone that does not speak English. Those people do not understand us and we did not understand them. Now my account is being closed because they don't speak english. This is the United States they should not be connecting us to an out-of-country lawn to fix fraud here in the United states. Update - it only gets worse. I wish I had never walked into this place. I don't have a loan or a credit card all I have is checking account and 5th3rd bank has caused me to lose the place I was renting and now holding my payroll check from a company that's been in business for 14 years. They said the Federal Reserve couldn't guarantee my employer wouldn't cancel my payroll check so they put a hold on $237.20 check. Nothing makes sense at this bank.

  We needed to fax a document and was told No! Took our fax page just to read our information and said he didn't have time. Paid off house with 5th/3rd and with 850 score. Terrible attitude! Chris M. Will never return to this location. 5th/3rd should remove the clerk. No other location does this.
