  Happy to shop at Lowe’s! I told the sales person how my Samsung refrigerated died after Samsung pushed an update to my unit. They were very, very empathetic, and offered a $250 discount if I were to purchase from them. I do appreciate the kindness and generosity displayed by Lowe’s. Buyers beware I would not recommend buying a Samsung refrigerator. I applied an update to my Samsung refrigerator, which was recommended cause it was available on my interface. After the update was applied. I lost complete control of my refrigerator. Samsung customer service said we can’t do anything because your refrigerator is out of warranty!!!

  This past Saturday, the natural gas water heater failed at my home, leaving me only cold water to care for my ill significant other. I researched retailers of gas water heaters on Google Shopping and identified that Lowe’s stocks gas water heaters at its Oldsmar, Florida store (among other locations). I arrived at the Lowe’s in Oldsmar very late in the evening; approximately 8:30 PM. I was unable to locate the hot water heater section on the Lowe’s App using the in store feature as it simply stated “Back Wall”. I wasn’t able to find a team member readily until I arrived in the home cabinet/carpet section of the store where an employee named Andy, was working diligently on what appeared to be a quote. I simply asked Andy to tell me how to find the location for water heaters. What he did next was above and beyond the call of duty. He first walked me to the heater section, located the water heater on a shelf high above the retail floor, when to get a forklift device to secure the box from the shelf and bring it to the floor, loaded the water heater box on my shopping cart, walked me to the front register, checked me out, identified that I didn’t have the recommended gas line installation kit, took the initiative to go back and get this kit himself from inventory and bring it back the register and completed checkout. He then loaded the water heater on my utility trailer and wished me the best with installation informing me that Lowe’s was here to help with any questions. This was an example of EXEMPLARY service and initiative and allowed me to install the heater on Sunday and have hot water back in my home by Sunday afternoon. Thank you very much Andy! You’re a credit to Lowe’s!

  Very disappointing day. I finally got around to installing the light I had purchased and it was the wrong one. I have a hard wired connection and I was sold one that plugs into an outlet. I went back to exchange it and was told that because I’m beyond the 90 days I can’t do that. I explained that I had the right one in my hand, and a LOWES PROFESSIONAL told me that I had the wrong one, and told me that i needed to buy this one. Well, this one is not the right one. I understand policies, but where is the policy for having an employee recommend the incorrrect item and not do the right thing by exchanging it? Super frustrating. No big deal. I’ll just go to Home Depot.

  LOWES HAS SAVED MY LIFE AGAIN!!! Jan, you are amazing!! My grandchildren are coming up to go snowboarding with my daughter and we’re meeting up in West Virginia and we have been iced in for the last two weeks😱😭☃️❄️ Jan, you were from Buffalo so you know How bad it can get😂🥳 I panicked And called Lowes in Oldsmar to try to find some deicing Windshield wiper fluid….. And Jan found it for me who would’ve thought you could actually find deicing windshield wiper fluid in Tampa Florida?😱😳🫠 I called from Virginia and I couldn’t believe that Jan took the time to keep me on the line and find it for me because I was Panicking!! This is a shout out to Connor, Jan’s boss and Gary the store manager. I just want you to know what a great employee you have. Jan was so patient with me and took time to find my a product that I can use where the kids can actually drive in the sleet. And he got me pricing and availability. He was so awesome. I just wish he could train everybody in customer service worldwide.!!!! I hope Jan Gets employee of the month and gets 50 stars by his name in the break room because he’s the best of the best!! You Definitely hired a top rated customer service with excellent product knowledge and he helped me decipher how many gallons the kids would need to go up to West Virginia and back to Tampa🙏👍🤩 Lowes, you are the best!!!! Somebody please find Connor and Gary and let them know what a great employee they have🙏🙏🙏🙏☃️❄️🎊😊🤣😎

  I have tried to shop there on 3 different occasions. 1st experience - wife and I were told “ get out of the aisle because the forklift was on the other side working”. We were in the middle of shopping no barriers up in the aisle we were in, no cones, no tape just an empty aisle. We left and shopped elsewhere. 2nd experience - looking for cabinet grade plywood. Met ever so rudely by one of the workers and he ask what was I looking for I told him and he pointed out where it was approximately. I said can I get some assistance with it? Yes I will be right back I’m working on something else. Never seen the guy again. 3rd experience - going to buy blades for my dremel oscillating tool and found a 3 pack of dewalt on the rack for $19.98. Went to ring up at checkout and it rang up at $29.98. I spoke with the guy at the register and explained. He stated “I need a picture of this so I can compare the numbers”. I said I just got it and it is right down here pointing about 20 yds down from registers. He said yes and I need a picture of this on the shelf to compare and I will wait here. I laughed and said yes I will get a picture for you. Went and did it and he knocked off the difference. CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS STORE IS NON EXISTENT!!!
