Outspokin Bicycles Tampa is a store at 3300 South Dale Mabry Highway, serving riders across the Tampa Bay area. The shop has been part of the cycling community here for more than 20 years, starting with one location in Clearwater and later adding this South Tampa store
The Tampa location carries Specialized Bicycle Components, and the team sells, services, and fits bikes for all kinds of riders. Outspokin also sells accessories, apparel, and components, and the shop now offers an expanded online selection through Incycle Marketplace. Shoppers can browse online or book an in-store experience.
What to Expect at Outspokin Bicycles Tampa
The store works with riders at many levels. You can get help finding the right bike, choosing gear, or sorting out a fit. The shop's Rider Specialists are available by phone, text, or email for questions about inventory, demos, events, rides, or service. Specialized's current road bike, the Tarmac SL9, is featured on the site, and the website notes that you should chat for availability before you visit.
The store also repairs bikes, and the team says it rides where its customers ride. Outspokin hosts group rides across its two stores, including a large Friday morning Weekend Warmup that averages 20 mph down Bayshore Boulevard. Event details are posted on Eventbrite, and the shop's Strava page is also linked from the site.
Demo and Ride Options at the Tampa Store
The Tampa location offers a demo program for riders who want to try a bike before buying. Demo bikes can be reserved online, and you will need to bring a valid ID and a credit card, sign a liability waiver, and be approved for a credit card pre-authorization at checkout. A deposit may be required. Riders under 18 need a parent present to sign the waiver.
- Bring your own helmet, which is required for all demo riders
- Demo bikes come with flat or Shimano pedals
- Bring your own pedals if you prefer them, and the shop will install them
- Demo rentals are offered at the Tampa location only
Planning Your Visit: Hours and Contact
The Tampa store is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours can change, so confirm before you visit. You can call or text the shop at (813) 831-1414 or email info-outspokintampa@specialized.com. The website is https://www.outspokin.net/.
Before you go, I'd call or text the shop to confirm that a specific bike or part is in stock, since the site asks customers to check availability first. If you plan to demo a bike, reserve it ahead of time and have your ID, credit card, and helmet ready. Those steps will make your visit to Outspokin Bicycles Tampa much smoother.
