  Hannah is the BEST! I’ve been getting my hair done by her for a year and she always delivers! She is an amazing, personable, and talented stylist. Not to mention, her prices are super affordable especially if you are someone who gets your hair done often!

  I rarely take time for myself, other than monthly mani/pedis. My hair has been totally neglected. I was super excited when I received a gift card to The Study for my birthday. I had a Saturday afternoon appointment with Hannah. The salon was easy to find, and luckily for me (kiiind of a nervous driver) they had sent me an email confirmation which included all the details including where to park, which gave me peace of mind beforehand. Everyone greeted me warmly when I came in. Right away, you're taken by the space. It's large, open, with high ceilings. The decor is really cool, very "dark academia"/modern gothic, yet still fresh and bright. Lots to look at - books, greenery, antiques etc. and the coolest couches in the waiting area. The staff was friendly and they seemed to all jive well with each other. (A good team typically makes for better vibes/customer service!) They offer a variety of drink and snack options - coffee/tea, soda, and more. Hannah was fantastic. Super personable and she really took her time to discuss options for my cut and color. She made suggestions about how to get rid of my dead ends, but preserve some length; also genuinely listened and answered all of my questions. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my appointment. I love the way my hair turned out. Even, natural color and no more dead ends! I'd highly recommend The Study (& Hannah!) to anyone looking for a chill, down to earth salon.

  10/10 recommend The Study Salon. Jess is absolutely amazing. She’s super knowledgeable and walks you through step by step of what she’s doing. If you’re wanting your hair blonde definitely go here!! A very welcoming and fun environment to get your hair done in!!

  I have very fine hair and after having kids have been a battle to get it back to what it was, but also getting an honest hairstylist that understands how to work with my type of hair and not try to sell you what you want to hear. I was looking enough the Universe put Jess in my path and had a wonderful experience today! She accomodate me super fast on a Sunday non the less, and took the time to understand my hair type, my request and reach a compromise that made sense for the long rub. Explained all the options, pros and cons without BS and for the first time I can say I felt heard!. I understand fine is is tricky and I wouldn't be able to attain the picture I had in mind today but can't wait to go back and get it done in a few months. Jess is amazing! Can't thank you enough.
