This was my first time choosing TGH Urgent Care, as I normally go to CVS MinuteClinic, so I was a little nervous. But oh my goodness! It was the best, easiest experience and I felt extremely cared for from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist warmly welcomed me and handled all of my check-in paperwork for me, which made everything so simple and stress-free. She was an absolute delight! My attending nurse was equally wonderful, so kind, fun to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. She truly understood what I was going through and showed genuine concern. The doctor was amazing. She took the time to listen, was very thoughtful about my well-being, and made sure I felt confident that my prognosis would be successful and that I’d be feeling better within a day or two. I left feeling reassured, cared for, and so grateful. Thank you for such an outstanding experience, I will definitely be back!

Received great care at this location. Andrew, the PA, was thorough and took his time to explain treatment options. Sandra, the medical assistant and the receptionist were wonderful too. All around great experience. Nice to have this location on Channelside.

This was my first visit to this urgent care. I was treated very well from my arrival through my first contact with a very kind and knowledgeable MA to my exam from a PA. He sent me for an x-ray to an office close by even giving me the address. He told me he would call me with the results when he received them with final directions for my two prescriptions. I was back home from all three stops in two hours which I was so happy about. This was a perfect alternative for me when my own Dr’s office had no appointments that day. I am relieved to know this professional clinic is in my neighborhood. Thank you

Do not go to any type of urgent care that is run by TGH. They are misleading and I will never again trust them with anything. I went to urgent care on channelside, the woman at the front desk was more worried about my payment to get in the door than she was about my health, clearly seeing I was about to pass out. With no insurance I paid $235 just to be seen. Absolutely no one informed me that there were going to be more charges for whatever was done for me, not the front desk, not the person that took my blood pressure, or the APRN. After swabbing my nose for a virus, running a UA and giving me zofran for nausea(which I did not ask for) they billed me another $205. After I paid $54 for prescriptions. So totaling $494 for one visit. When I called to inquire about the $205 charge I was told it was for the services provided, again I was under the assumption that the $235 I paid was covering those services because no one informed me otherwise. I was also told that I should have been asked to pay the extra $205 upon leaving the clinic, again NOT ONE PERSON told me there would be extra charges or asked me to pay before I left. So the person I spoke with on the phone put in a request for someone higher up to call me regarding this issue. No one ever called. Then, while I was at the clinic the APRN told me they were running a culture & that the results would be ready in 3-5 days and they would call me to deliver the results. No one ever called. So I called yesterday, (5 business days after I went to the clinic) and the woman told me that she would reach out to the provider to give me a call with my results. No one ever called of course. So I called again today and the young lady said “yes we have your results and it was negative so you can keep taking the medication if it’s helping but you don’t need to”, when I asked why no one ever called back and why I had to call twice to get my results she said it was because when they are busy they don’t have time to call….so not only did I pay almost $500 to be mis-diagnosed but I had been told I would get a call with information about my HEALTH multiple times and that never happened. Extremely unprofessional. I am baffled at how TGH runs things and I will never be returning and informing everyone I know that TGH is not trustworthy.

Honestly not a bad location. Went twice in one week and was always seen pretty quickly. However, if you get the physician assistant, Kelly Black, just leave. Go to a different location or come back a different day when she’s not working. Wrong diagnosis, didn’t ask about symptoms, didn’t check any of the places I was having pain. I was with her for maybe 2 minutes before she told me I was fine and to leave. All other staff are great!
