I went looking for a place called Tampa Mall and I did not find one. That name is not on any sign. What people usually mean is International Plaza and Bay Street at 2223 N. Westshore Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33607. Simon runs it and calls it Tampa's big luxury shopping destination. If a hotel clerk says "the mall," this is the one I ask them to name out loud.

It sits in Westshore, minutes from Tampa International Airport by the mall's own description, and less than five miles from the Port of Tampa cruise terminal. When I needed a real shopping afternoon from downtown—air-conditioning and options in one stop—Westshore was the go-to. Here is how I tell International Plaza apart from the other centers, what is actually inside, and the parking and hours mistakes that waste half a trip. Last updated: November 2, 2026.

Quick Mall Notes

  • Say the real name. Ask for International Plaza, not "Tampa Mall."
  • Check Dillard's separately. Its hours are shorter than the center clock.
  • Park first. Three garages, or valet if you do not want to circle.
  • Bay Street is the open-air side. That is where a lot of the sit-down dining sits, and where Simon says redevelopment is headed.

What "Tampa Mall" Actually Means

There is no property branded Tampa Mall. International Plaza is the center those words belong to. WestShore Plaza is a different enclosed mall at 250 WestShore Plaza, Tampa, Florida 33609, phone 813-286-0790. Citrus Park Town Center is north at 8021 Citrus Park Town Center, Tampa, Florida 33625, phone 813-926-4644. Tampa Premium Outlets is also Simon, but at 2300 Grand Cypress Drive, Lutz, Florida 33559, about 20 miles north of the airport. People say "Tampa outlets" and land in Lutz.

International Plaza claims more than 170 stores and a restaurant lineup of about 30 options, with Bay Street as the open-air piece for restaurants, cafes, and nightlife.

For a wider Tampa plan after shopping, I usually send people back to my things to do in Tampa guide rather than trying to force every errand into one Westshore afternoon.

Hours, Phones, and Department Store Traps

Mall regular hours: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Confirm on Simon's International Plaza page before you go, especially around holidays.

Dillard's is on the east side, phone 813-342-1220, and its hours are shorter: Sunday noon to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. That gap is the mistake I would have made. You can stand at a locked Dillard's door while the rest of the mall is already open, or find Dillard's closed after 8 on a weeknight while other doors are still going.

Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom are the other department-store landmarks the mall uses for elevators, restrooms, and ATMs. Elevators are at Grand Court next to Dillard's, at Nordstrom, and at Bay Street. Restrooms are on the lower level in the corridor between Tesla and Vineyard Vines, on the upper level in the food court, and inside the three department stores. The food court is upper level near the Bay Street entrance. Lost and found sits with security on the lower level in that same Tesla-to-Vineyard-Vines corridor.

Mall phones: management 813-342-3780, shopping line 813-342-3790, security 813-342-3789.

Stores, Dining, and Bay Street

The luxury names the mall leans on include BOSS, Breitling, Burberry, Chanel fragrance and beauty, David Yurman, Golden Goose, Gucci, IWC, Mayors, MCM, Montblanc, Omega, Saint Laurent, TAG Heuer, Tiffany & Co., and Versace, plus Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.

Dining names I could pin to their own roster: Bar Louie, Bazille inside Nordstrom, Brio Italian Grille, California Pizza Kitchen, Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant, Doc B's, Ocean Prime, Rocco's Tacos and Tequila Bar, Shake Shack, Street Crust, Suki Hana, The Capital Grille, The Cheesecake Factory, and Whiskey Cake. Bazille is upper level inside Nordstrom. California Pizza Kitchen is lower level near Nordstrom. Street Crust and Suki Hana are in the food court. Ocean Prime sits toward West Shore Boulevard and Spruce Street. Confirm which restaurants are open before you plan dinner around a "coming soon" name.

If you want a churrascaria dinner after Westshore shopping, Texas de Brazil Tampa is on Boy Scout Boulevard nearby, not inside the mall. For a hotel base in the same district, I have a separate guide to the Westshore Marriott.

Parking, Shuttles, and Getting There

There are three garages: Dillard's and Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and under Bay Street. They also mention paid parking near the entrances. Valet was $10 a car Monday through Thursday and $12 Friday through Sunday, all day, when I checked, with complimentary valet in a Lexus when that offer applies. For self-park garage rates, check at the entrance or ask the mall.

Bus 15 stops on the outer ring road near Dillard's. Bus 3 runs along the West Shore / Kennedy corridor and includes the airport.

Simon counts the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel as part of the center. The mall also lists courtesy shuttle arrangements from a long set of Westshore hotels, each with its own rule. Call the hotel desk for the current shuttle, rather than trusting a printed list.

Wheelchairs are complimentary at security, lower level near the bathrooms. Nursing rooms are by the food-court restroom and by the lower-level restroom at Grand Court. The Muma Children's Hospital play area is open during mall hours.

Other Malls People Mix In

Citrus Park's weekday hours are shorter than International Plaza's: Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lutz outlets are a northern drive, not a Westshore hop.

Construction to Expect on Bay Street

On February 4, 2026, Simon announced an investment of more than $250 million across three properties, including International Plaza, after taking full control from Taubman. For Tampa they described a 50,000-square-foot open-air expansion, a reimagined Bay Street, new finishes, and upgraded amenities, with construction expected to begin in 2026. No completion date. The center has kept regular hours through the announcement. Bay Street is the piece they say they are redoing, so build dinner plans with that in mind and confirm current store and restaurant status on Simon's page.

FAQ

Is there a mall called Tampa Mall?

No. People saying "Tampa Mall," "mall of Tampa," or "best mall in Tampa" are usually pointing at International Plaza and Bay Street at 2223 N. Westshore Boulevard.

What are the best stores at International Plaza?

If you came for the luxury pitch, the mall leans on names like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Dillard's. For a quicker stop, Tesla and Vineyard Vines sit near a lower-level restroom corridor that is easy to use as a landmark. Match the store list to what you actually need that day.

How far is International Plaza from Tampa International Airport?

The mall describes itself as minutes from Tampa International Airport in Westshore, and less than five miles from the Port of Tampa cruise terminal. It is a short Westshore hop, not a Lutz or Clearwater drive.

What are International Plaza's hours?

Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Thanksgiving and Christmas, when I last confirmed the regular schedule. Department stores can open later or close earlier. Check Dillard's before you aim for that door first.

How much is parking at International Plaza?

Valet was $10 Monday through Thursday and $12 Friday through Sunday, all day, when I checked. For self-park rates in the garages, check at the entrance. There are garages at Dillard's/Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and under Bay Street.

Is International Plaza the same as WestShore Plaza or the outlets?

No. WestShore Plaza is a different enclosed mall nearby. Tampa Premium Outlets is in Lutz. Citrus Park Town Center is farther north. Same metro, different addresses.

Tips From Westshore Afternoons

Say International Plaza out loud to hotel desks—never “Tampa Mall.” I liked Bay Street for sit-down dinners after a store run; I disliked aiming for Dillard’s on the mall clock and finding that door still closed. Park first (garage or valet) before you commit to circling. Treat WestShore Plaza, Citrus Park, and Lutz outlets as different trips. The food court upstairs near Bay Street was the reset button when someone was done shopping and someone else was not.

Hunting a flea market? Big Top is closed—see Tampa flea market options (Oldsmar and Ybor Saturday Market).

Final Thoughts

International Plaza is the shopping center behind the "Tampa Mall" search. From downtown, it was our reliable Westshore afternoon: luxury-store pitch, Bay Street for dinner, and a parking plan before we went. Say the real name when you ask a desk clerk for directions.

If you are flying in, land the plan with my TPA arrival guide. If you want dinner on Boy Scout after the stores, use my Texas de Brazil Tampa notes. For a Westshore hotel base, start with the Westshore Marriott.
