People type "tampa bucs" and "bucs tampa" into a search bar, and what they usually want is the team: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, football, not a concert and not baseball. I put this page together around Sunday, October 4, 2026, when the Packers were in town and the Buccaneers were 0-3. It covers where the team plays, how to watch and listen, how the 2026 schedule shapes up, and how to get to the stadium without ending up at the wrong building. The schedule is the team's own, and I flag the places where the team's own pages disagree with each other.

Last updated: November 2, 2026. Schedules, kickoff times, and broadcast details change, so check the official [Buccaneers schedule](https://www.buccaneers.com/schedule/) before you plan anything around a game.

Where the Tampa Buccaneers play

The Bucs play at Raymond James Stadium, 4201 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33607. Fans call it Ray Jay, and some drop the first name and say "James Stadium." The building belongs to Tampa, not St. Petersburg, and that matters because Tampa Bay has two very different football-and-baseball addresses. The Rays play across the bay at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The Lightning play downtown at Benchmark International Arena. The Bucs are on Dale Mabry.

The stadium says the Buccaneers became an NFL franchise in 1976, play in the NFC South, and were Super Bowl XXXVII champions for the 2002 season. The stadium also hosts the University of South Florida Bulls, bowl games, and concerts, so not every event at Ray Jay is a Bucs event. USF athletics says the Bulls have played there since 1998 and calls it a 65,000-seat stadium. I'm repeating USF's number because the stadium's own pages never gave me a seat count.

Raymond James Financial, a firm headquartered in St. Petersburg, holds the naming rights. The name is a company, not a person, which explains why it gets shortened so often.

For the full building breakdown, including the other Tampa venues people confuse with it, see my Tampa stadium guide.

Where the season stood on October 4, 2026

The Buccaneers were 0-3 when I wrote this, heading into Week 4: Sunday, October 4, 1:00 p.m. Eastern, Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raymond James Stadium. The team had the Packers at 1-2. The schedule row, the team's event calendar, and the stadium's own events list all agreed on that game, so I'm confident about the date and time. The row wasn't marked final when I checked, and I'm not writing a score for it.

The three losses, in order, from the team schedule:

  • Week 1, Sunday, September 13: loss, 27-33, at the Cincinnati Bengals, Paycor Stadium.
  • Week 2, Sunday, September 20: loss, 19-23, versus the Cleveland Browns, Raymond James Stadium.
  • Week 3, Sunday, September 27: loss, 16-23, versus the Minnesota Vikings, Raymond James Stadium.

One small trap: the team's preview calls the Vikings game a "23-16 loss." That's the same game as 16-23, just written with the winner's score first. If someone quotes 23-16 without saying who had 23, that's how recaps mislead.

The preseason is a separate set of games and not part of the 0-3. The team went 2-1 in August: a 24-16 win at the Jets, a 16-15 win over the Chiefs at Ray Jay, and a 0-19 loss at the Jaguars. Those don't change the regular-season record.

Injury and quarterback news

The team's how-to-watch preview said Baker Mayfield suffered a dislocated thumb in the Week 3 game. It also said undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels was trying to become the fifth quarterback in franchise history to win his first NFL start. "Trying" is not an outcome, and I'm not treating it as one.

Two team headlines went further than the preview. One said the October 2 injury report ruled out Morrison, Mayfield, Bain, and Kieft. Another said the Bucs elevated quarterback Easton Stick and linebacker Caden Fordham for the Packers game. I didn't read the injury report itself, so treat those as headlines. For anything depth-chart related, go to the club's site on game week.

The rest of the 2026 regular-season schedule

This is the part worth saving. These are the times and opponents the team listed as of my check:

| Week | Date | Time | Matchup | Venue | |---|---|---|---|---| | 5 | Thu, Oct 8 | 8:15 p.m. EDT | at Dallas Cowboys | AT&T Stadium | | 6 | Oct 18 | 1:00 p.m. EDT | Steelers at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 7 | Oct 25 | 1:00 p.m. EDT | at Carolina Panthers | Bank of America Stadium | | 8 | Nov 1 | 1:00 p.m. EST | Falcons at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 9 | Nov 8 | 8:20 p.m. EST | at Chicago Bears | Soldier Field | | 10 | — | — | Bye | — | | 11 | Nov 22 | 1:00 p.m. EST | at Detroit Lions | Ford Field | | 12 | Mon, Nov 30 | 8:15 p.m. EST | Panthers at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 13 | Dec 6 | 1:00 p.m. EST | Chargers at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 14 | Dec 13 | 1:00 p.m. EST | at Baltimore Ravens | M&T Bank Stadium | | 15 | Dec 20 | 1:00 p.m. EST | Saints at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 16 | TBD | TBD | at Atlanta Falcons | — | | 17 | TBD | TBD | Rams at Buccaneers | Raymond James Stadium | | 18 | TBD | TBD | at New Orleans Saints | — |

A few notes on reading that table:

  • The Week 5 Thursday game was listed on AMZ and 98ROCK rather than FOX.
  • The label flips from EDT to EST at Week 8. I'm not converting anything; I'm repeating the team's labels. If you're planning travel, confirm the time on the official schedule.
  • Weeks 16, 17, and 18 said the time was still to be determined. I'm not filling those in. Flights and hotels booked around those dates are a gamble until the times are set.
  • Week 12 is a Monday night on ESPN at Ray Jay, so plan for a late finish if you're staying in town.

That's six scheduled home games remaining after the Packers: Steelers, Falcons, Panthers, Chargers, Saints, and Rams. If you're building a visit around one, my Tampa events calendar has what else is happening that week, and my Tampa hotels guide covers where to stay.

How to watch the Buccaneers

Per the team's how-to-watch preview for the Packers game:

  • Local TV: FOX, with Chris Myers on play-by-play, Jonathan Vilma as analyst, and Jen Hale on the sideline.
  • In-market mobile stream: NFL+.
  • Out-of-market stream: NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV.
  • International: Game Pass International on DAZN.

Broadcast partners change by week, as the Thursday Dallas game shows. Check the team's schedule page for each game's network before kickoff.

How to listen: Buccaneers radio

Radio is where the team's own instructions started to fight each other, so here's what I found and where the conflicts are.

English: The flagship is WXTB 97.9 FM, also called 98ROCK, serving Tampa Bay and Sarasota. The crew is Tony Castricone on play-by-play, Dave Moore as analyst, and Jay Recher on the sideline. SiriusXM channel 380 carries the national stream. The affiliate list runs well past Tampa, including an Oklahoma City station, KRXO 107.7 FM. That's the same broadcast, not a second Bucs team.

The streaming contradiction: One line says you can listen in English and Spanish on the team's app or the team's desktop stream, in-market. The English stream line says both are in-market. The team's FAQ says the app stream is in-market and the desktop stream is all markets. I couldn't tell which sentence is the rule. If you're out of town, I'd try the desktop stream before assuming you're blacked out, and I wouldn't promise a friend that the app will work.

Spanish: The team lists WTMP, La Invasora, on 1150 AM, 1590 AM, and 96.1, 92.9, 94.9, 102.1, and 103.9 FM. Martin Gramatica is the analyst and Santiago Gramatica is on play-by-play. The team's FAQ calls the station WTPM instead. That's one letter off, and I can't say whether it's a typo or a second station, so I'm listing both and not correcting the team.

Getting to Ray Jay: parking, rideshare, and RVs

The stadium's own directions are more useful than any nickname.

Parking. All lots are cashless and contactless, major credit cards only. The price varies by event, and advance parking is a separate purchase. The stadium doesn't give a flat number, so I won't either. Lot opening times also change by event. For a Bucs home game, the stadium's event page listed parking and the team store opening at 9:30 a.m., ticket office at 10:00, suite and club gates at 10:30, general gates at 11:30, and kickoff at 1:00 p.m. That was for the Packers game; check the specific event for the others. For lot maps and current pricing, go to the Raymond James Stadium site.

Rideshare. For Uber and Lyft, the stadium's general directions say drop-off and pickup are both at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The stadium's A-to-Z guide says something slightly different: designated drop-off at the mass transit turnaround by the pedestrian bridge, with pickup at Steinbrenner for major events and mass transit for smaller ones. The stadium's October 4 Bucs game details said Steinbrenner Field. For a USF game the day before, they said mass transit. A Karol G concert said TBD. So go by the specific event, not the general directions.

RVs and campers. Buccaneers games: Publix Lot 14, entrance off MLK Blvd. Most other events: Lot 8 off Himes Ave. Nothing stays overnight on stadium property, campers included. RV and camper passes are sold in advance for most events.

Other lot details. Bike racks are in front of the chain-link area by each dock, A through D, and the stadium says it isn't responsible for lost bikes. ADA parking can't be bought ahead; arrive early, first come first served, with a valid license and identification. If your car dies in a lot, the stadium says to call 813-350-6501 on event days, pop the hood, or find an officer at a lot entrance. They mention help with gas, lockouts, and dead batteries.

Decide to Ride. At events that serve alcohol, you can pledge as designated driver (21 or older with a license) at a guest services booth and get a free soft-drink coupon for permanent concession stands. The stadium says the program can also point you to a discounted rideshare home.

Use my Tampa map to see how Dale Mabry, downtown, and the airport relate before you pick a hotel or a route.

Tickets, mobile entry, and the bag rule

Tickets. Go through the club: buccaneers.com/tickets. The stadium says tickets for all events are mobile only, no screenshots, and they want the ticket loaded in Apple Wallet or Google Play before you reach the gate. Each guest needs their own mobile ticket. There are no printed tickets. If a ticket won't load, the stadium's guide sends you to the ticket office in the South Plaza.

I'm not quoting face values; they vary by game and opponent. Ticket questions for Buccaneers games go to the team, at 813-879-2827 per the stadium's guide.

The ticket-office confusion. The stadium's A-to-Z guide places the ticket office between the Suzuki Marine gate and the Fifth Third Bank gate. The Steelers game details put it between Gates C and D. The lost-or-stolen instructions say between Suzuki Marine and D. I can't tell whether D and Fifth Third are the same door. If you need the office, ask a staff member near the South Plaza rather than trusting one sign.

The bag rule. The stadium has a no-bag policy for every event, with one exception: a single clutch no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Anything else goes back to the car or to lockers on Tom McEwen Boulevard, south of Suzuki Marine, for a small fee the guide doesn't name. Fans who decline to be wanded aren't admitted. Re-entry is only for a medical emergency, through a Tampa Sports Authority supervisor. Strollers and umbrellas stay out. The stadium is open air, rain or shine. The guide advises against heels and sandals and requires a shirt. Footwear is advice; the shirt is a rule. Policies get updated, so check the stadium's current policy page before you go.

Kids. The age rule changes by event. Buccaneers games and the Gasparilla Bowl: every age needs a ticket. USF and the ReliaQuest Bowl: three and under are free if they don't take a seat. Monster Jam and Supercross: two and under, same condition. With a toddler, the rule for your specific event is the one that counts.

Alcohol. The stadium says two drinks per person per purchase, none brought in or taken out, 21 with ID. Its own guide gives two different cutoffs: sales on the main and upper concourses stop at the start of the fourth quarter, then in the next breath that sales stop at the end of the third quarter depending on the stand. Don't plan around the last call.

Inside the stadium

A few details from the stadium's guide for first-timers:

  • The pirate ship. A 103-foot replica in the north end zone, built in 1998, closed to the public during events, with cannons fired at Buccaneers games. It can be rented on non-event days at 813-350-6500.
  • Clubs. The guide describes the Hyundai West Club at 60,000 square feet with 178 4K monitors, and the East Club at 64,000 square feet with Bar 76, named for 1976, and 76 beers. Club access varies by event.
  • Suites. 134 suites, seating 8 to 36.
  • Tours. Most Mondays through Thursdays and select Fridays at 2:00 p.m., reservations required. Private groups need at least 10 people and two weeks' notice for a 10:00 a.m. tour. Pricing is a phone call to 813-350-6553.
  • Wi-Fi. The network is bucswifi.
  • Money. Concessions are cashless, with reverse ATMs at select spots.
  • Resale. Ticket resale is prohibited on the property, lots included.
  • Help. Guest services takes texts at 813-680-2827. The stadium office number is 813-350-6500 normally and 813-350-6501 on event days.
  • Team store. The guide lists weekday and Saturday hours and Sunday closed, but the stadium's October 4 event details, a Sunday, had the team store opening at 9:30 a.m. Hours change with events.

Tampa has more than one stadium: don't buy the wrong ticket

The phrases "stadium tampa fl" and "tampa florida stadium" point at more than one building:

  • Raymond James Stadium (Tampa): Bucs, USF football, bowl games, and some concerts. 4201 N. Dale Mabry Hwy.
  • Benchmark International Arena (Tampa): The Lightning's home, at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. Hockey, not football. The Lightning announced a naming-rights deal on August 13, 2025, replacing the old AMALIE name, though some downtown businesses still used the old name when I checked.
  • Tropicana Field (St. Petersburg): The Rays' home, listed by the club as 1 Tropicana Dr, St. Petersburg, FL 33705. Not in Tampa. The club also mentions a "New Ballpark," which I didn't research.
  • George M. Steinbrenner Field: Not a Bucs venue. It's the rideshare and staging lot for Ray Jay events. A baseball fan following that name could end up in a football rideshare lot.
  • Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa: 5223 Orient Road. A hotel and entertainment venue, not a kickoff.

A Lightning ticket is hockey, a Rays ticket is baseball, and an AMC showtime is a movie. Even the big October concert at Ray Jay, Karol G on October 9, is its own event with its own gates.

Other Bucs-related dates

The team's calendar also listed a non-game event: the Jr. Bucs Trick or Treasure, Saturday, October 10, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the AdventHealth Training Center, with trick-or-treating and football activities for Jr. Bucs members. That's a members event at the training center, not a stadium kickoff.

A little history, kept in its place

The team's Packers preview noted that the two clubs shared the NFC Central from 1977 through 2001, before the Buccaneers moved to the NFC South in 2002. Since the move it counts 12 meetings, postseason included, with the Buccaneers winning seven, three of the last four, and six earlier meetings that went to overtime. Old photos in that preview carried captions naming Tampa Stadium, Houlihan's Stadium, Milwaukee County Stadium, Lambeau, and Raymond James, with old final scores. A caption from the 1970s is not the 2026 record.
